It's just 4 more weeks of SOT left. For me, it's 3 weeks, as I will be away for reservist for the whole of next week. Which makes it quite sianz for me. Coz I'm missing out on all the fun and the exciting lesson with Pst Kong next week!! grrr... Anyway, think I will really miss my team when SOT ends. Seems like all things will come to an end, but I pray that our friendship will never end. I have been challenged, and blessed by them. Learnt so much from them, and I'm always so thankful for each of them. To them, I'm like an angel, though I know that I'm not, just doing my part as their team leader. Harhar! They are truly the angels! One thing for sure, because of them, I can speak more fluently in Chinese, and preach in Chinese with a bit of help! cool!

Was mightly blessed over the last week and this week! Had Dr A.R Bernard and this week's Dr Joshua Hong from Korea. Yea! Awesome men of God. I've been meditating on this for a while. Relationship precedes ministry. What does that really mean? What a thin fine line it is to be firm and yet pastoral. Does being firm affect your relationship? If then, to protect the relationship, what happens if it affects the ministry? At the end of the day, I rmbr what someone told me - if all else is taken away 10 years down the road, maybe all we have left is the relationship that we have with one another. Quite true.

Taken to another point of view. Relationship precedes ministry (ministering). To outreach, 1st build the relationship. To evangelize, 1st build the relationship. No relationship = No revival. What connects you to people and draws them to you is your relationship with them! I'm working on it. Believing in the breakthrough for my zone.

Dr Joshua's lectures gave me lots of quotes to think about. So here's some of them.

The biggest present of life is the PRESENT (NOW) - treasure every second that you have now!

Everything conceivable is achievable.

Leadership is influence. Spiritual leadership = Inspirational influence.

And here's one for Dr A.R. Bernard.

Delegated authority should reflect the character of the leader.

A car can only have one driver. If all the people in the car tries to control the car, it will not travel in one direction. Maybe it would crash. So, be on the same page. same vision. same direction.

On a lighter note, Mr Bump came to life. it jumped out of the key chain and grew bigger and fatter. and true to his name. he bumped around and broke both his hands. Thank God for nitty fingers that saved the day. "Operation save Bump Bump" was successful the next day and both hands are reattached. and Mr Bump lives yet another day! ha ha ha! I wonder when will he get into another accident again. I pray with all my heart that its owner will be safe and strong!

I'm in a reflective mood. I desire for so much more. Lead me I pray!
