Back from Taiwan

hey hey,,.. i'm finally back from taiwan.. harhar.. wow.. the feeling is shiok, especially when im enjoying my one wk break now.. anyway, this trip to taiwan was truly an eye-opener.. somehow, i enjoyed it a lot n not only that, it taught me some interesting things too..
before we left for taiwan, there were reports about taiwan being hit by typhoons.. but i didnt expect to experience one myself too.. when i first reached there, the weather was super hot, thus it nv occured to me that it will all change in a few days time.. it was fun, or even exciting, preparing for the typhoon thou.. harhar,, we had to tape up all the windows w masking tape, like a cross shape, to prevent it from shattering into small pieces.. then we had to keep all the loose items that were outside our bunks.. i once thot that these all the things that we see in tv but nv expected to do them myself.. harhar.. when e typhoon came, we were told to evacuate the camp, coz it wasnt made of concrete, just a container, with a metal sheet as the roof.. but.... the losuy camp that we evacuated to didnt want us there, coz it's too crowded.. so we had no choice but to return to our "containers".... tat nite, there wasnt any electricity, and we cant even go out of our bunks to go to the toilet.. those tat are urgent just had to pee into a jerry can.. harhar.. thank God i wasnt one of them.. managed to tahan till we were allowed to go out the nt day.. thou its only one night b4 the typhoon passed us, it really taught me to appreciate our daily neccessities more.. n definitely to treasure S'pore more, cause it's well protected by our neighbours..

that wasnt the only fun thing that i had,,.. in taiwan, fireworks arent illegal, so on the last nite of our stay there, we bought alot of fireworks to play with, in camp.. harhar.. it was truly amazing n exciting to set off the fireworks by yourself.. it's like a mini NDP fireworks display.. wow,,.. took a video of it with my phone camera, but the feeling is quite different from seeing it just in front of you!!
harhar.. during e R&R, my friends and i visited the Toilet restaurant(ma ton chang ting).. the seats were toilet bowls, even the hotpot was served in a tiolet bowl.. harhar.. then the rice and ice-cream was served in a squating toilet bowl.. baked rice was in a bathtub.. thou the food was only average, but it was definitely a nice theme.. harhar.. took alot of photos in taiwan this time round, but i dun have them with me yet, caused i used my fren's digi-cam.. haiz,,.. thats y i need a digi-cam.. hee... 27th sep is not very far away wor!! harhar,,.. *hint hint*
