yup, indeed this is the long awaited 1st entry of 2006.. been wanting to blog but im just simply too busy.. there's so much to do, so many thigns to complete.. everything's just trying to compete for my precious time.. so finally, managed to settle down a bit le after the hectic start to the year.. actually, im supposed to go back to camp tonite, but i decided to go see a doctor n get an MC.. harhar.. for the past two weeks, i've been coughing.. haven really recovered.. i can talk n suddenly there's no voice coming out because of the phlegm.. cannot make it.. so i shall my long-awaited break..
tmr is the day that i will start writing my spiritual diary once again.. it was introduced to me by sis sandy.. it was really good as it was at that time when i really grew alot in the Lord.. it's was during that time when i really took time to study the word n seek God.. but somehow, a lot of changes came our way n i stopped that habit le.. so once again, i'll start n this is one my new year resolutions.. n i encourage you guys to join me too!! everyday, try to make time for God to really study His Word.. pray n ask for a personal encounter with Him.. it's really awesome one!!
other than that, another resolution is to be a good shepherd to my kids this year.. i really want to spend time to really ground them in the Word, to know Him more this year.. i want to feed them with spiritual food every week!! this year, my target is not just in numbers.. but laso solid kids who are strong in the Word!! this year, my target for VL201 and VL206 is to have 40 strong regular kids.. yes, kids who are really discipled.. it's not going to be easy but i'll do my very best to make it happen.. n i know that God is with me.. Amen!
for this year 2006, it's going to be a big year of transition for me.. moving from SM zone to PET zone.. moving from army life to school life.. maybe moving from a normal cg to cch cg.. wow.. like what Dr Joyce Meyer said, God needs to prepare us for something that He had prepared for us.. n i strongly believe that this year will be a great year of preparation for me, to be launched out.. yeah! it's just awesome thinking about all the things that im going to accomplished.. or rather, the things that God is going to accomplish through me!! *excited*
harhar.. svc was great this week.. although i went only for the 1st svc, but it has already impacted me.. the little things.. these are the things that many people neglect, thinking that it's nothing.. but it is the little things that we do that make up the big picture!! even the bible tells us not to despise the days of small beginnings.. nv wait for the perfect situation before you start to do things.. start small n when God sees that u're faithful, He will add to u great n mighty things!! Amen!! n sometimes, the little things that we do for one another really goes a long way to strengthen the bonds that we have with people.. it may be a simple forwarded msg.. but it shows that im thinking of you.. it may be a simple card, but it shows my care n concern for you.. n it may be a simple hug, but it shows that i'll be there for you.. n sometimes, unknowingly, the small things we do really encourage n bring a smile to the people around you!! to me, it's like meeting the needs of one another.. harhar.. so everyone out there, nv neglect the little things that you can do for the people around you!!
