yup, yest was a happy happy day!! hehe.. blessed and happy.. anyway, im supposed to be studying and doing my work, but it's so boring.. sianz.. so here i am to blog..

some of you may know, im actually working part-time, teaching at schools. Basically, it's like an enrichment program where i teach the kids to play games, and through the games, teach them about life principles.

Yesterday was my last session with this class of P5 students at Gong Shan Pri, n they are so sweet!! nice! they made nice nice cards for me and also bought presents for me! i was so surprised la.. harhar.. but im really glad that they really enjoyed every session that i was teaching them.. yup..

One of them who made a card that i liked most said this:
"Thank You Teacher. Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher. You inspire me."

haahaa.. I'm so touched la.. Im really glad that through the short 5 weeks there, i was able to make a difference in their lives! N i know that I would not have been able to teach them tat well if I haven been trained in CCH. Really glad that I'm placed at a right place, at a right time, to sow into their lives. Looking forward to teach at the next school. Bedok Green Primary, P4 students..

ok, back to work.. need to read through another 2 reports tat like close to 100 pages each b4 10am.. hehe..

26th August 2007 is the DAY!! Azrael is baptised in the name of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit!!

Harhar.. Azrael refers to God's helper! So from today on, I shall strive to be God's best helper, with a simple wish to hear Him say "Well done!" at the end of the road!!

This is a breakthrough personally for me. For those who knows me, I've been wanting to get baptised since donkey years ago, but due to parental objection, i had to delay it. Really thank God that my mum finally decided that I'm old enough to decide for myself! harhar.. PTL!!

Today's the start of week 2 for sch.. haahaa.. slowly getting my engine started.. thats y im still blogging in class.. But thank God that I am able to wake up early today, though im super tired.. hehe.. Two words from the Lord today..

Desire and Capacity

School has finally started after a 4 months plus break.. Trying to juggle everything together but all in all, it's been great since last Friday!

Cg was at Ben's place in Sengkang last friday, and as usual, it's not a good place to go home from.. super far!! harhar.. made the effort to fellowship with Tim after cg and in the end, i had to run to the mrt to catch the last train! harhar.. but thank God for everything coz it's all in His timing.. I didn't actually wanted to meet Tim coz it was quite late, but just felt tat i had to do it.. then on the way back home, i was on the train and there was this light in the tunnel as the train moved on.. due to the speed of the train, all these lights seems like flashing n zooming past me.. it gives me to feeling of like passing through time.. yup, then God spoke to me and said 3 words.. "Seize the Moment!" I didnt really understand it at that time, like what am i supposed to seize or do?

Then on Sat, when Joyce Meyer told everyone the title of her message, i was like.. "wow!!".. She was talking abt seizing the moment!! harhar.. *excited* it was an awesome service and i could really sense God doing a work in me, to prepare me for something.. yup. and i felt really burdened to pray, in need of that breakthrough.. n i was reminded of all the things that God had done for me in my walk with Him over the last 6 yrs.. Abt how He had always come through for me when im in need.. n how everything happens perfectly at the correct timing.. all i need to do is to be open to Him and LISTEN!! yea, going forward, preparing n ready to SEIZE THE MOMENT!

Another testimony to share is abt sch.. harhar.. Last sem, i took a yr 3 module even though im only in yr 1, and thank God that i managed to get an A+ for that.. As such, i told my prof that im interested to be his teaching assistant, to guide students along.. money was the motivation.. hahrar.. 500 bucks for one sem.. quite slack.. BUT..... he offered me another position, to be his research assistant!! faint.. Although im honored, but i seriously have no idea what i have to do.. no experience, nothing.. but with God, it's more than enough! hahrar.. yup, met him up, talked to him abt the things im supposed to do.. n thank God, its still quite ok for me to manage.. pay wise, i think it's ard 500 bucks too.. just tat being an RA requires more work, but it looks nicer on the CV and more experience for me! yea, tat's one of the opportunity i seized! i didnt actually want this position, but felt that since God opened the door for me, i shall SEIZE it and trust Him to work it out for me..

looking forward to more great things ahead! im excited!! booooo!! hehe..

Was just reading about Nehemiah in a book, Church of the Living God by Rev Ulf Ekman.. So i decided to read more about it.. N here I am to share..

Nehemiah was the king's cupbearer.. ( Vs 11)

He had a desire to see the change, to rebuild the wall and what did he do?

Vs 4 => So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

As a result, his countenance changed. He was sad when he entered into the presence of the king. Yet this is what the king said - What do you request?” (Neh 2: 4)

Even though permission was given for him to go, yet he faced opposition. So what did he ask his ppl to do?

Neh 4: 17 => Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.

So what did i learn from this?

How could a cupbearer have the influence of the king? hmmm.. Spirit of excellence, the light that shines in the marketplace. Will u have that kind of influence? (Something learnt today - The presence of God and moral standards that will influence and change the world!)

Working with one hand and carrying the weapon in the other. The torch and the sword! The torch to burn and fan the flames! The sword (Word of God) to protect and fight! Do you have the torch and the sword?

More things on my mind, but cant put alot of them into words. harhar. gonna get baptised soon! yea! 26th Aug is the day! happy happy!!

Now then i realise that i had readers of my blog that i didnt know of!! harhar.. welcome ar!! but relax, this is just a place when i just type n type n blah blah blah.. also a place for me to share.. harhar.. so yea! have fun reading!!

had a long long day today, but it's been a while since i really enjoyed myself so much, just relaxing n doing things that i want to do and not think so much!! yuppie!!

prayer meeting's great! had a good time fellowshipping with them as well.. got a rhema word today too!! yea, i need a new vision. without vision, man perishes. currently in the midst of taking up a new grp, bedok!! yup, i need fresh vision, fresh anionting.. the vision at the start of the yr was for VL201, n its gone stale.. need a change! woohoo.. excited abt the things ahead coz i know it's gonna be great! it's not going to be easy, but there's always a way out!!

then watched the movie, SECRET!! nice nice! really enjoyed the show alot n the company's great! yup.. n for ppl who haven watch the show, i shall not spoil it for u! just that it's highly recommended by me n i dun recommend alot of shows one! harhar.. GO WATCH IT!!

after that went to meet jo-ann and had a nice treat from her at newton circus.. nice time fellowshipping with everyone! yup, blessed n happy!!
