It's been a long and tiring weekend, but i've been encouraged and challenged. to move on to a whole new level. Pst Tan preached a really awesome message!

If there is no more big day, no more preaching, no more things being organized, would you, a Christian, still go out into the world and bring in the souls? Is evangelism a part of your lifestyle? How do you go about living your life? Will you eat, sleep and think of how you can reach out come what may? it set me thinking, what have I done thus far, what more could i do and how do i go about doing it?

3 keys points being preached! to be Spiritually Fruitful! the power of Spiritual Adoption! Spiritual Empowerment!

Words alone could not express my excitement as i sat there listening to Pst, while praying in tongues throughout the service! Ideas began to pour forth into my tiny winy but limitless brain! haaa..

Pst talked about Spiritual Adoption, about adopting a group of people, to PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS! So, who can we as children church leaders adopt?

yea, we shall ADOPT A BLOCK! To pray for, to bless and to reach out. How to go about doing it you may ask? Door-to-door, block saturation within the block, build up a database of contacts. Find out unit numbers of those with children, names of the children etc and PRAY PRAY PRAY! Be specific, gather your helpers to pray together. Lay hands on the doors, letterbox and everything and anything! Corporate prayer, synchronized prayer, yea, COVER the entire block with your prayers!

and of course, we gotta work towards blessing the families there! Organize parties? Providing tuition? Getting chocolates for the children? Be creative, and find out the needs of the families in the block and MEET IT!

Yea, even if there's just one more family that is being added to God's kingdom, all your effort is worth it and can you imagine, the whole of heaven is going to stand and rejoice together with you!

Let's go all out to conquer our areas BLOCK by BLOCK!

For that one more BLOCK, for that one more FAMILY, for that one more CHILD!

All said and done, the choice is in your hands now! Is it going to be a sermon that you hear and 'wow' and then forget all about it? Or would you have e discipline to implement whatever that you have learnt and heard?

You may not be in CCH, but the principle doesn't change. Prayers works wonders, and Prayers will begin to transform the world around you!
