Chinese New Year came and went by just like that. Still, I appreciate the nice break that I had over the past few days. It's not really tiring this year, at a more relaxed pace. But I had been thinking quite a bit over the past few days.

I think I'm aging. ha ha ha. As I look at my cousins/nieces/nephews growing bigger every year, I feel that I'm really getting much older. And somehow, the aging process seems to speed up every year. Ha ha ha.

And I think being in love with someone doesn't involve just the two of them, but both their families and relatives as well. Met up with Joyce's relatives over the holidays, seems to be quite intimidating, considering the number of ppl there is!! ha ha. But they are a pretty close-knit family! Glad to have the chance to meet them, yup!

I think our lives are really shaped by goals and visions that we set each year. Either that, it's living up to the expectations of others. Seems like if you don't do it, others will do it for you. So why not planned out your life, under the guidance of God! I dislike living up to what people think I am, what they feel that I should be, maybe that's why i'm thought of as being rebellious by some. haha. Still, sometimes, it's hard to live up even to your own expectations when you know you cant reach it. People thinks that I'm confident in things that I do, in the way I portray myself, but there are situations and occasions, and I do think so as well, but yet, there are times when I feel that I'm not. That's why, we need to manage our expectations! Not only with others, but most importantly about myself. I'm learning how to do it right this year...

Time to head for a bit more rest before school! It's 618am now!! :)
