I have been putting on my thinking cap for the past few days and pondering about quite a bit of stuff. They are pretty random and thus I have tried to classify them a bit. ha!

SOT

It's been an exciting journey so far with my team, blessed with wonderful members who are such blessings and a joy for me to lead them. I think I will really miss them when SOT ends. Oh man, I must be prosperous so that I can go to China to look for them next time!

I have learnt, that the potential behind people is often hidden. You never know what's in them till they're put to the test. I'm just blown away by my team members while we're having mock cg this week. They're simply awesome. I think it wouldn't be as fun if my team are all local students. I'm a blessed child of God to have each and every single one of them in my team.

I understood the meaning of being truly supportive and encouraging. This bunch of awesome people showed it to me.

My life

I was pondering, what really defines me, what am I good in? What can I do? What's my future going to hold out for me?

I want to be a person of influence, I want to be prosperous. How? I have no idea as of now. But I know that I need to step out in faith. I need to lean on God and allow Him to direct my paths.

Do I please God or please people? Do words of affirmation matter to me?

Ministry

It's a thin fine line between being pastoral and being firm. Managing it is not easy, but then, if it's easy, why am I still needed?

What can I contribute to this awesome team?

Random

I visited a child today, and I just felt that she's super blessed, cute, smart and very HAPPY! I really feel that a picture paints a thousands words. Her walls in her house are filled with her paintings, drawings and each of them are full of rainbow colors. Though it might not be a super big house, but I can sense the love of God in that place, and it beats having a large house void of love rite? Today's her birthday and I thank God that I was prompted to at least buy some nice sweets for the children before I started visiting. At least I'm not empty handed. Anyway, I was treated to a nice cupcake made by the mum. As I left, I wonder, what do I want to give to my child next time? I don't think grades and results matters. the journey matters more than the destination I guess.

Blessings

SOT days are days when blessings just keep pouring into my life. 1st, I'm blessed with a nice lunch just when I'm broke. And today, I received financial blessings from my SOT team member. And during mock cg this week, I'm blessed with the chance to preach and share in Chinese. And plenty of other small blessings. I will learn to count my blessings... :)

It's been a busy busy period for me. And it will continue to be so for the rest of May. And it all started on the 1st May when we had our Men's conference.

Observation - It's one of the times when you can see long queues outside the male toilet and yet no on the other side.

Observation - Hotdog eating and Sumo wrestling is not really MAN at all, according to Dr Allan Meyer. haa. It's pretty funny really, seeing guys chewing and slowly eating hotdogs on stage when it's supposed to be a competition.

Testimony - My God indeed provides, on a day when I thought I shall just have Oreo biscuits for lunch, He provided lunch for me thru my beloved team-mate from China.

And yea, this week, we're learning about moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It's pretty fun and interesting to see how God moves! Being blindfolded and prophesying is fun stuff! Being prayed for is awesome too and I experienced both today! Tmr's gonna be fun!

Spending time with Joyce is great, though they are hard to come by, but I appreciate every minute that we spend together. That's why, it's called Precious Moments. ha!

It's gonna be a great time over the next few weeks. And I believe that my God will continue to provide! Amen!

All my results are out. final verdict - A, A-, B+, B and B. Seems like studying lesser is better yea? I doubt so. It's the grace of God, that made it happen.

And yes, I'm trying very hard to catch up with my bible readings, seems like there's so many things to do. ha ha ha.

As I read my bible today, some words floated around.

Honor - and i remembered about the book, honor's reward

Love for your leader - love covers a multitude of sins, is there anything that God's love can't cover?

God's will shall be done - everything has its purpose i guess

Bearing His cross - what does it mean to bear the cross?

I'm speaking in parables. ha ha! Gotta do more readings!! even more in my SMU semesters, coz i usually don't read. ha ha ha!
